Frequently asked questions
Where is Ampla Travels located and how can I reach you?
Our headquarters is at 24 Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. You can reach us on +234 812 000 0000, on WhatsApp, or by email at hello@amplatravels.com. We are open Monday to Friday 8am–6pm and Saturdays 9am–3pm, with emergency travel support available outside those hours for active bookings.
Is Ampla Travels a registered company?
Yes. Ampla Travels Ltd is a CAC-registered Nigerian company operating from Victoria Island, Lagos, with established partnerships across major airlines, insurers and payment providers. You are welcome to visit our office before booking — many first-time clients do.
Can I book if I do not live in Lagos?
Absolutely. Most of our clients book entirely online or by phone and WhatsApp from across Nigeria and the diaspora. Documents can be shared electronically, payments are made securely online, and tickets and confirmations are delivered by email within minutes of issuance.
Do you handle group and family bookings?
Yes — group travel is one of our specialities. We manage family holidays, church and mosque group pilgrimages, school excursions and corporate retreats, with group fare negotiations, coordinated seating and a single dedicated consultant managing the entire party.
How do I get the cheapest flight from Nigeria?
Book early — ideally six to ten weeks ahead for international routes — travel midweek where possible, and stay flexible on dates. Our consultants compare fares across airlines and routings, including options that self-service websites rarely surface, and will honestly tell you when waiting or flying a different day saves real money.
Can I pay for my ticket in instalments?
For selected packages and advance bookings, yes — we offer structured payment plans that let you lock in a fare and pay in agreed instalments before ticketing. Note that airfares are only guaranteed once fully paid and ticketed, so earlier completion always protects your price.
What happens if my flight is cancelled or rescheduled?
Contact us immediately — or more likely, we will contact you first, as we monitor schedule changes on all our bookings. We handle rebooking, rerouting or refund claims with the airline on your behalf at no extra charge for the standard service.
Can Ampla guarantee my visa will be approved?
No honest agency can guarantee a visa — approval decisions rest solely with embassies and immigration authorities. What we guarantee is meticulous preparation: honest eligibility assessment, complete documentation, accurate forms and thorough interview coaching, which together give your application its strongest realistic chance.
How long does visa processing take?
It varies by country: UAE and Qatar e-visas often clear within 3–7 working days, the UK typically takes 15–25, Schengen 15–30, and Canada 30–80 depending on the season. We advise applying at least six to eight weeks before travel for embassy-based visas, and longer during summer and December peaks.
What if my visa application is refused?
We review the refusal reasons with you honestly and advise whether to reapply, appeal where applicable, or strengthen your profile first. Embassy fees are set by governments and are non-refundable, but our reapplication support is heavily discounted for existing clients.
Do I need to buy flight tickets before applying for a visa?
No — and for most embassies you should not. Applications generally require a reservation or itinerary, not a paid ticket. We provide embassy-compliant flight reservations for your application and only ticket once your visa is approved, protecting you from losses if a decision goes the wrong way.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept naira card payments and bank transfers through Paystack and Flutterwave, direct transfers to our Zenith Bank corporate account, and wallet payments for registered clients. Corporate clients can also settle via invoice on agreed credit terms. We never ask for cash payments to personal accounts.
Is it safe to pay online through your website?
Yes. All card payments are processed by PCI-DSS-compliant Nigerian gateways — Paystack and Flutterwave — and Ampla never sees or stores your card details. Every payment generates an instant electronic receipt, and your booking status updates automatically once payment is confirmed.
How does corporate credit billing work?
Approved organisations receive a credit facility that lets staff travel now while finance settles on an agreed cycle — typically 14 or 30 days. Each cycle closes with one consolidated invoice itemising every trip by traveller, department and route, dramatically simplifying reconciliation and audit.
Can Ampla enforce our internal travel policy?
Yes. We configure your approval chains, cabin-class rules, preferred airlines and spending caps directly into our booking workflow, so out-of-policy requests are flagged or routed for approval automatically before any money is spent.
