Privacy Policy
How Ampla Travels collects, uses and protects your personal data.
Ampla Travels Ltd ("Ampla", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, customer portal and all services we provide, and is designed to comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).
We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, contact details, date of birth, passport data and payment confirmations — when you book flights, apply for visas, purchase packages or contact our team. We collect this data because airlines, embassies, hotels and insurers require it to deliver the services you request. We also collect limited technical data (such as device and usage information) to keep our website secure and improve our services.
Your data is shared only with the third parties necessary to fulfil your booking: airlines and global distribution systems, embassies and visa application centres, hotels, insurers and licensed payment processors. We do not sell your personal data to anyone. Payment card details are handled entirely by our PCI-compliant payment partners; Ampla does not store your card numbers.
We retain booking and identity records only as long as required for legal, tax and audit purposes, after which they are securely deleted. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to hello@amplatravels.com, and you may object to marketing communications with one click in any email we send.
We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls and staff confidentiality obligations. If we make material changes to this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a revised effective date. Questions or complaints may be directed to our data protection contact at hello@amplatravels.com or by post to 24 Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
